Calling Men to a Higher Standard Here’s what an “IRON MAN” is made of…

INTEGRITY
He’s a man who’s striving to live the word of God out in his everyday life whether he’s at home, church, or at work.

He’s the spiritual leader of his house. He loves his wife the way Christ loves the Church. He let’s his children see Christ through his life.

He’s a provider and protector. He is willing to regularly go to war in prayer for his family.

RIGHTEOUSNESS
He’s a man who is constantly striving to deny his sinful desires and overcome temptation through the victory Christ won for all men on the cross.

He’s committed to overcoming things that keep him in bondage like drugs, alcohol, pornography, and pride.

OWNERSHIP
He’s a man who takes responsibility for his own actions.

He doesn’t blame other people or circumstance for his choices or past mistakes. He is able to seek and ask for forgiveness when he needs to.

He takes ownership of God’s purpose for his life. He doesn’t allow his past mistakes to keep him from his future in Christ.

NEAR
He draws near to God everyday through the spiritual disciplines of prayer, worship and the reading of God’s word.

He draws near to the Father by leading his family to church every week and worshiping together.

IRON MEN draw near to one another. We build godly relationships with other men. We pray for one another.

IRON MEN hold each other accountable for “As Iron sharpens Iron, so one man sharpens another.”
